March 28:  My Dad died in 1967.  There was a visitation at our home.  The relatives and assorted city fathers made for a full house.... plus Leroy Pittman.  For 45 years I have often asked myself – “What would Mr Pittman do?”.   Today I attended a funeral.  Guess who was there? .....

Another UNC Trustee challenges BOTBob and BOTBarbara for “Rich & Privileged Say Stoopid Stuff”.  Today we introduce you to BOTRoger Perry.

Who Now Frau Yow Update:  Frau is moving under the radar to hopefully avoid a “Fowl(er) Up situation.  Meanwhile the hairshirts are arguing over whether “Shaka” in a muslim or a Zulu.  Yep, more fun than The State Fair.

March 24:  Ann-Margret is officially credited with unleashing certain hormones in this baby boomer boy; but Elizabeth Taylor may have been the car that a generation of adolescent dogs imagined chasing.  Or maybe not?  I’m still unclear what I was supposed to do if I’d ever caught “Liz”.

On the local sports front, two otherwise very solid guys go “Wuff-silly” reminding me how stone cold blind our overt partisanship can make us.

March 21:  This is not about Joe Theisman.  This is about an All-American kid who has grabbed TWO of the most coveted brass rings on any high school merry-go-round – Quarterback of the football team .... March 15:  The enemy of my enemy is my friend.  Ergo, Jalen Rose is now THE most popular Detroit Inner City 'baller in Chapel Hill.  Surely you’ve heard former Fab Fiver  trashes Duke in the current Fab Five documentary on ESPN. Chapel Hill’s Time Out eatery declared free chicken biscuits for anyone sporting a rose or anyone with an Uncle named Tom. ..... Not so fast.  Was Jalen bashing Carolina too?

I LOVE me a topic like this one.  Hypocrites pour out of every nook and cranny.
I do love to bash hypocrites ...... white ones, black ones, rich ones, poor ones.  Hypocrites is hypocrites is hypocrites.  Bash bash bash .....  Better pack a lunch.  This is a loooong one.
